A site called Catholic Ponderer reproduces an old Henry Taunt picture of Port Meadow and kindly provides a link to my Binsey tag for a post about Gerard Manley Hopkins' Binsey Poplars.
The bridge he shows still exists - this photograph was taken last Winter. It stands at the south-east corner of Port Meadow near the Walton Well car park. So, not at Binsey (and not poplars either, but willows), but not far away.
