The Parish of St Margaret's in North Oxford extends on to the Aristotle Lane Allotments and the corner of Port Meadow. On Ascension Day a party from the church sets out to beat the bounds, that is, to tour the perimeter of the parish. They stop occasionally for a sing and a prayer.
